Where It All Began
I became a mom in my early twenties, and I can honestly say it changed everything.
My focus completely shifted from myself to my son, and then two and a half years later, to my daughter, Alexia.
As a parent, you sacrifice. Your time, your sleep, your energy… all of it. And it’s hard, like really hard. But it’s also one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
It really shaped me. Made me stronger, more resilient, and really put into focus what actually matters.
Motherhood isn’t easy. Especially becoming a single mom and figuring it all out on my own. There were a lot of overwhelming moments… but somehow you get through it. And then you look back and you’re like, I don’t even know how I did that, but I did.

Shaped by Experience
I lived abroad, and I was traveling a lot with my kids. Travel has always been a big part of my life, and that really changed how I design and how I see things.
I don’t just think about how something looks, I think about how it functions. How I can be more hands-free, how something can actually make life easier.

The Way I Design
For me, it always comes back to practicality. Hands-free is everything. When you have kids, you need your hands. But at the same time, it still has to feel beautiful. If it’s not both, I’m not bringing it.
That’s how I design. It’s the small details, the thoughtful things that just make sense when you’re actually using them.

Full Circle
And now getting to do this with my sister, and seeing my daughter step into it too… it just feels really full circle.
With motherhood, you raise your kids and hope to see them grow into themselves… and now watching my daughter step into her own, even just starting with an internship at Mandrn, it’s really special.
